| 1) Cow manure is piled in a cone shape around a vertical center pole. The center pole has cross members with PVC pipes hanging down to allow air flow through the pile of cow manure. The convection air flow starts the composting process reducing the volume of cow manure that is composted in the rotary drum digester.

| 1) Solids from dairy wastewater are screened and processed in a large horizontal drum digester at temperatures up to 150 F. for three days. This process kills nematodes and inactivates weed seeds. |

| 5a) A skid loader (Bobcat) picks up the solids at the base of liquid solids separator and then transports the solids to the drums receiving hopper. The belt conveyor delivers the solids to the drum. The drum rotates at 11 revolutions per hour (RPH) and runs twenty four hours a day, three hundred and sixty five days a year.
