Phil and j, as owners of Mover's Nurseries, Inc., have been aware of the cowpeat project for some time. With the upcoming shortage of bog peat in Florida, a substitute for nursery mixes appears greater. Knowing the research has been completed in partnership with the University of Florida, the restarted cowpeat project sounds like a good idea. The value of the composed cow manure as a replacement for mined peat in the nursery mixes has our full support and approval.
